Location

Role
Design Assistant
This promo look for Daya Betty is a fierce explosion of punk futurism and cybernetic fantasy, a throwback to early 2000s punk scene. As the design assistant, I was responsible for designing and constructing several key elements of the look, including the custom thigh-high faux Converse heels, structured leather gloves, arm cuffs, and the spiked halter top all tailored to embody Daya’s rebellious, high-impact energy.
The thigh-high shoes were designed to mimic classic Chuck Taylors but with an exaggerated, dragified silhouette and lace-up details that read boldly from every angle. The gloves and cuffs were built from scratch in a way that felt both gritty and stylized. The halter top featured sculptural shaping, reinforced paneling, and stud detailing, grounding the entire look with a dominant, punk sensibility.
While the 3D-printed headphones were created by other collaborators, my focus was on creating wearable, high-drama pieces that gave Daya full movement and attitude on camera. This look is the definition of maximal drag-meets-mecha rebellion—and I’m proud to have brought it to life alongside such an amazing creative team.
